Mrs. Virginia Pauline Mattox Peek age 96, of Cedartown, GA formerly of Rainsville passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Funeral services are set for 1pm Saturday, October 22, 2022 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Bro. Morris Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Copeland’s Bridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her sons, Emmit (Mary) Peek and Buddy (Anne) Peek; grandchildren, Sharon (Rodney) McFall, Bryan Peek, Robyn Wells, Joy (Todd) Gragg, Andrea (Lt. Col John) Stroh, Mark (Melissa) Peek, Sherry Peek, and Shelly (Tim) McCollum; great-grandchildren, Zachary McFall, Nakeisha (Jerry) Jackson, Xalyn (Emily) Peek, Maisey (Will) Karrh, Haleigh Peek, Bailey (Brittany) Wells, Cameron Gragg, Grace Gragg, Carly Stroh, Levi Stroh, Garrett (Morgan) Peek, Jessica (Dusty) King, Matthew McCollum, and Dawson McCollum; great-great-grandchildren, Rylan Jackson, Gavin Jackson, Anna Peek, Brooks Peek, Wynnleigh Peek, and Olivia Peek.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Jack Peek; son, Jimmy Peek; parents, Will and Irene Mattox; three sisters and two brothers.
